Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are the ultimate in cosmetic dentistry for transforming your smile. Custom fit and colored shells of porcelain are fit, colored, and applied to your prepared tooth. Tooth preparation is what we do to help the veneers adhere to your teeth. Your porcelain veneer will look like natural teeth, with the same translucence that enamel does. Your smile will look beautiful, healthy, and natural looking.
If a patient wants veneers but has concerns about tooth preparation, Dr. Briscoe can provide an alternative which requires minimal preparation of the tooth. This creates the same luminous appearance as typical veneers.
Composite Bonding
Dental bonding is another option to repair a broken tooth, fill in small gaps, correct a misaligned bite, cover stained teeth, and many other conditions that require treatment, either restorative or cosmetic.
Using layer after layer of very thin composite resin bonding material, Dr. Briscoe carefully sculpts the material into the desired shape and position. Each layer creates a cohesive chemical bond with your teeth and with each subsequent layer. The result is a natural-looking restoration using a versatile and strong bonding agent.
Tooth and Gum Recontouring
A conservative option to make small adjustments in your teeth and gums, recontouring can transform the look of your smile. Tooth recontouring can involve sanding nearly microscopic amounts of enamel away from a tooth to correct an overlap, shorten a tooth that is longer than your other teeth, or help adjust your bite into a more aligned position.
When your smile is too “gummy,” Dr. Briscoe can use a soft-tissue diode laser to remove excess gum tissue to reveal more tooth without surgery, and with minimal swelling and quick recovery time.

Dr. Briscoe prefers the Zoom! Whitening system for the best results for his patients. This is an in-office treatment with custom trays and a take-home pack for touch-ups. This is a great gift to give to others or yourself any time of the year.
Dental Implants
No matter how many teeth you may have lost, one way to replace them is with strong, durable, and attractive dental implants. First, a titanium screw will be surgically planted into the jaw to replace the tooth’s root. (This will be done in an Oral Surgeon’s office.) After an appropriate healing time, Dr. Briscoe will then place an abutment on top of the screw and lastly, Dr. Briscoe will secure a porcelain crown on the abutment. The result is a natural looking, high-functioning tooth replacement that will let you eat and speak naturally, and will help maintain the stimulation that the underlying bones need to support the shape of your face.
