One of our team members will meet you at the front door, take your temperature, offer a mask (if you didn’t bring your own) and ask you some questions. If there is nothing to cause concern we will then proceed with your care. The face shields, the dense masks, and the dental equipment make it pretty warm for our team! So, you may want to bring a sweatshirt or sweater to stay warm.

The team will perform disinfectant sweeps of the common areas of our office regularly throughout the day. As much as we love visiting with our patients, we are following the Governor’s request to keep contact to a minimum. So that means there won’t be a coffee bar 🙁 and we ask that you no bring outside food or beverages in with you. Parents & guardians are asked to wait in the car and information about the patient’s appointment will be communicated via telephone after the appointment ends.

So – nothing has changed at Briscoe Dentistry. We are still focused on your health and well being, and the safety of our team and our patients. We have also installed an ionic purifier in our furnace systems – this is known to kill SARS & other viruses, mold, and bacteria. This product is used at Johns Hopkins Hospital, so we hope it’s good enough for us!
